"Three Musketeers Meet Son of Osama at the OK Corral"

A Mexican-American border patrol agent, Maggie Lopez, along with a semi-retired political consultant, and a local sports reporter learn in early-2001 of an al-Qaida plot to strike the United States.  The three defenders, aided by a CIA and an FBI agent, attempt to thwart the attack at the Mexican border.  The CIA agent tracked the terrorists around the globe to the Arizona/Mexican border (about 50 miles west of Tombstone) only to be locked-out of his own investigation by his supervisors.

In this story of international intrigue the CIA, FBI, border patrol and a U.S. Senator cooperate, at the lowest level of law enforcement, to suppress a terrorist attack.  The operation is accomplished by sharing information illegally, and by acting forcefully under time critical circumstances.
